About the client

Greythorn Logistics is a large UK based logistics company and a key delivery partner for Amazon and Evri. With more than 1,000 full time contractors and a fleet of over 500 vehicles, they operate high volume delivery services across the country, managing complex operational, regulatory and financial responsibilities every day.

Before working with Nyble, Greythorn Logistics were running their entire business through spreadsheets and manual processes. Every essential workflow, from onboarding new contractors to scheduling delivery routes, relied on fragmented tools and heavy administrative effort.

Their team handled constant onboarding and offboarding, weekly contractor payments, fleet management, fines and parking charges, MOT and service schedules, driver training, safety compliance, licence checks and rapidly changing client rate structures. Much of the daily communication with drivers took place through WhatsApp, creating further inconsistencies and operational risk.

One of the most significant bottlenecks was the daily driver debrief process. Each contractor submitted a paper based report detailing mileage, start and finish times, packages delivered and packages failed. With more than 1,000 contractors, this created a huge strain on the admin team and made accurate reporting almost impossible.
